1. Abodh Aangan
“Abodh Aangan” JIET adopted the nearby village, where round the year students of JIET educate the children of nearby Mogra and Kankani villages, mostly wards of labour class and then every year a camp is being held to educate villagers about healthy living, saving the girl child, education for all and thus contributing in the holistic development of the school going children and their parents.
2. OSCE & OSPE
In nursing education, practical skills are just as important as theoretical knowledge. Two widely used methods for evaluating practical competencies in nursing students are the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) and the Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE). Both approaches provide structured and objective assessments of students' clinical skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for real-world healthcare environments. This report outlines how OSCE and OSPE are used in practical nursing procedures.
3. Mentorship of Students
"Mentorship of students in hostels." The JIET Hostel Administration is comprised of academics, non-academics and core department. This program is co-ordinate by Chief Mentor’s with the coordination of both Chief Wardens of hostels the selection criteria of mentors are based on overall performance of student and the selection process goes through many stages like Common Entrance Test, written test, demo session and Personal Interview. After completing all stages of selection process, mentors are appointed for the smooth working of this system
4. JMEPI
Nursing students from non-English medium backgrounds, particularly those transitioning from Hindi medium to professional courses, often face unique challenges in understanding course content and coping with academic demands. To address this, educational institutions provide specialized support, including separate English improvement classes and re-evaluation through exams. This report highlights best practices for utilizing library resources, with a particular focus on slow learners who are improving their English proficiency.
